Swedish Institute Scholarships description:
The Swedish Institute scholarship (SI) is now launching the Swedish Institute Scholarships for International Africa students (SISIAS), a new scholarship programme which replaces Swedish Institute Study Scholarships (SISS). SISIAS offers scholarships to a large number of master’s programmes starting in the autumn section 2019.

Number of Institution Scholarships for Africa student:
An estimated 300 scholarships will be available.
Students from the following countries:
Bangladesh; Bolivia; Brazil; Cambodia; Cameroon; Colombia; Ecuador; Egypt; Ethiopia; Gambia; Ghana; Guatemala; Honduras; Indonesia; Jordan; Kenya; Liberia; Malawi; Morocco; Myanmar (Burma); Nepal; Nigeria; Pakistan; Peru; Philippines; Rwanda; Sri Lanka; Sudan; Tanzania; Tunisia; Uganda; Vietnam; Zambia; Zimbabwe and so on, can get Swedish Institute Scholarships for International Africa students.
The scholarship covers tuition fees, living the amount of SEK 10,000 per month, insurance, and for one-time travel is just SEK 15,000. There we be no additional grants for family members.
However this scholarship is intended for full-time one-year or two-year master’s programmes, and is only awarded for programmes starting in the autumn section.
There for to be eligible for (SISIAS) Swedish Institute Scholarships for International Africa students, you must have had at least 3,000 hours’ work experience prior to 3 February 2020 from a maximum of three organisations/companies. Applicants must be from an eligible country (see above). And make sure you will be able to demonstrate your previous training experience. And this experience can be demonstrated through for instance previous work experience, or involvement in civil society organisations.
you must make sure you are well prepared, because you must be liable to pay tuition fees to the universities,and make sure you have paid the application fee for master’s programmes at University Admissions on time before 1 February 2019, and be admitted to one of the eligible master’s programmes by 3 April 2020.

- So to begin with, apply for a master’s programme with us at universityadmissions.se, between 15 November 2019 – 15 January 2020.
- Apply for an SI scholarship between 10-20 February 2020, following the instructions at the official website. The application form will be available in 1st January 2020.
