Swedish Institute Scholarships description:
The Swedish Institute scholarship (SI) is now launching the Swedish Institute Scholarships for International Africa students (SISIAS), a new scholarship program which replaces Swedish Institute Study Scholarships (SISS). SISIAS offers scholarships to a large number of master’s program starting in the autumn section 2020.

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration:
The scholarship covers tuition fees, living the amount of SEK 10,000 per month, insurance, and for one-time travel is just SEK 15,000. There we be no additional grants for family members.
However this scholarship is intended for full-time one-year or two-year master’s programs, and is only awarded for programs starting in the autumn section.
Eligibility:
There for to be eligible for (SISIAS) Swedish Institute Scholarships for International Africa students, you must have had at least 3,000 hours’ work experience prior to 3 February 2020 from a maximum of three organizations/companies. Applicants must be from an eligible country (see above). And make sure you will be able to demonstrate your previous training experience. And this experience can be demonstrated through for instance previous work experience, or involvement in civil society organizations.
you must make sure you are well prepared, because you must be liable to pay tuition fees to the universities, and make sure you have paid the application fee for master’s programs at University Admissions on time before 1 February 2019, and be admitted to one of the eligible master’s programs by 3 April 2021.

- So to begin with, apply for a master’s program with us at universityadmissions.se, between 15 November 2020 – 15 January 2021.
- Apply for an SI scholarship between 10-20 February 2021, following the instructions at the official website. The application form will be available in 1st January 2021.
